Either create them one at a time or import multiple products at once via Excel-compatible CSV files with any column layout you prefer. Thumbnails can be generated automatically from larger images. Unlimited category and sub-category levels may be created, and navigation for the customer via the dynamic menu system, or the intelligent search function, is easy. Various product options may be assigned, each with their own price, weight and stock implications. Creating, for example, multiple colours and sizes generates a number of product variants, each one able to function as an individual product in its own right. Automatic Inventory Management One of the most important elements of your product catalogue is the stock level for every individual product you sell. For this reason, you are able to assign stock levels for products and their variants throughout your site from the Product Manager or from a simple CSV file import. In addition, your stock levels may be adjusted automatically, as and when purchases are made. Product quantities are held in 'reserve' until the order has been processed and alterations to stock levels have been made accordingly. Item availability may be indicated to your customers as a descriptive phrase or an icon. A 'traffic light' system may be adopted by specifying 'low stock' levels per item. Seamless Order Processing You may choose to accept orders off-site via third-party payment processors, or on-site via a trusted SSL certificate. Confirmation e-mails are automatically sent to both the customer and the shop owner, keeping both parties informed of every development. Pending orders may be completely or part-shipped, and e-mail updates can be customised to include vital information. Refunds may be applied following the submission of an order. Invoices are generated automatically and may be modified with an invoice number from your accounting package. The customer is encouraged to track the status of their order at any time by signing into the site, increasing the opportunity of generating further sales.
